Staying uptil Midnight, talking ’bout absolutely nothing
What’s happened to the lovely sunshine?? ::sobs pathetically over her laptop:: lol. Bit overcast here today, it might be another trip to the pictures… its only money ::gulps:: I can’t believe how much it costs us to go to the pictures. £20 to get in, and another £30 for popcorn, drinks and hot dogs. Its even worse if we come out around a major meal time – ‘mum, mum.. Frankie and Benny’s!!!!!’.. (thats a USItalian/pizza/pasta type place situated handily next door to the cinema, I think they’re pretty countrywide).. that wasn’t so bad when the kids were on the Children’s menu, but both Bigg’un and Middl’un order from the adults menu, so it ends up costing about £50 if they have a pudding… (and of course, because there’s a dessert included in Littl’un’s meal, it means its more than likely they will have one too).. oh well.. lol.. as I said ^ ^ ^ its only money.
Logged off fairly early last night, fully intending to watch some telly, and then have an early night. Ended up watching Sleepy Hollow, and doing more drooling over Johnny Depp some more – he is seriously gorgeous in that film. http://www.angelfire.com/moon/darkchamber/movies/icha_bod.jpg phwoarr.. lol. Anyways, I watched that, and didn’t feel remotely tired. Last weekt , I’d looked at a writing contest, where you have to finish off the stories started by well known authors (I’ve got the link for it somewhere, but its a BBC thing, anyone interested in more details email me and I’ll hunt it out).. the stories were available for download yesterday, which I had done, so I thought I’d have a quick look at the first one. Read it, felt inspired, reeled off a first draft, lol. So I ended up back online, to check something out.. next thing it was gone 2am and I was finally tired :O) I’m going to do a rewrite of my story – probably change the ending….lol.. but before I submit it (you can only make one submission) I’ll have a look at the other stories and see if any of them inspire me – and yeah, its daft to think that it’s going to get anywhere, but I enjoyed writing it :O)

Didn't get my grass cut before the rain came back. Shame!!!!!!
Somehow I have managed a day – well, afternoon – on my own. Next door neighbour has taken his boy to the pictures, and is dropping his daughter and mine in town to do some window shopping. They were soooo excited to go, I didn't have the heart to say no. So now I bite my fingernails until they get home again!! LOL!!! Gave Charlie some money, but told her not to spend it. Lol!!!
Pictures is best on a Saturday morning here, when there is kids club or whatever they call it, which is only £1. And I take my own drinks and sweets, and just buy popcorn.
Going out anywhere costs a fortune, and there are only 2 of us. Don't know how you manage with your three boys, Dreamy.

Learn to play tennis and teach your kids. You have a perfect number for doubles, it's something you can do as a family and it's free.
Dunc <not that he's obsessed or biting nails waiting to hear if he has wimbeldon tickets or not>.

I saw that writing competition advertized and immediately thought of you, Dreamy .. can't think why. I was tempted to have a look at it myself. Sounds like a really good thing.
